Olivier Marin

Olivier Marin is a violist and eclectic composer. Interpreter, he performs chamber music, mainly. His work is defined, in particular, by his found interest in improvisation and contemporary creation, which he developed through encounters with artists such as Garth Knox and Ibrahim Maalouf. His mastery of computer-assisted music benefit his compositions, an art he had the chance to explore further alongside Pierre Michaud (University of Montreal) and Thierry De Mey (IRCAM).
