Charbel Charbel

Charbel Charbel is a French Lebanese cellist. From a very young age, he came across composers who fueled his passion for contemporary music. Later, Ibrahim Maalouf introduced him to improvisation and invited him to accompany him onstage in Bercy, Baalbek and at Paris Olympia. Charbel performs in numerous festivals and has played chamber music alongside Stéphanie-Marie Degand and Raphaël Pidoux, for instance.
